Current research direction
My current work is focused on cosmology and magnetohydrodynamics, especially the evolution of primordial magnetic fields and their possible observational signatures in CMB spectral distortions.
Topics
Primordial magnetic fields
Evolution, decay, helicity, inverse transfer, and damping of magnetic fields in the early Universe.
CMB spectral distortions
Energy injection in the early Universe and its connection to μ-type and y-type distortions.
Magnetohydrodynamics
MHD turbulence, viscous damping, photon drag, and the transition between different damping regimes.
Numerical simulations
Implementation notes, numerical tests, and simulation strategy, especially with the Pencil Code.
